O Wall is a chamber work whose subject is the play within the play in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer’s Night Dream.
“Wall” is the central character in this chamber work. The video projection incorporates the image of the hand as in the play creating the chink in the wall through which the illicit lovers whisper. As in the play, “moon” and night forest imagery create the mis en scéne in the video projection.
